Floral Reef

Floral Reef, 14.5” wide by 23.5” high. At its core is a spherical lattice, meticulously constructed from intersecting struts that create a delicate yet resilient geometric framework. The open structure allows light to pass through, giving the form an airy, almost buoyant presence. Emerging from and orbiting the sphere are floral and pod-like elements, each rendered in intricate, lace-like mesh. Their forms echo petals, seed pods, or coral polyps—organic shapes that feel as though they are blooming from the geometry itself. The color palette moves through aquas, seafoam greens, pale yellows, and soft mint, creating a luminous gradient that feels aquatic and atmospheric. The sculpture appears simultaneously engineered and grown, as if it were a botanical specimen from a future ecosystem or a crystallized moment of growth. Mounted on a pedestal, it reads like a celestial artifact or bioluminescent organism, suspended between science and poetry—quietly radiant, intricate, and alive with rhythm.
