“COSMOS” WIRE ART 42” X 45”
Suspended like a floating planet, “Cosmos” is a 42-inch wide by 45-inch high “Wire Art” sculpture that fuses the mathematics of Fibonacci spirals with Voronoi geometry. Hundreds of hand-assembled, polygonal cells interlock to form a luminous globe alive with depth and light.
Oceanic blues mingle with flashes of aquatic greens, evoking both a deep-sea world and a driftingcosmic nebula.
The Fibonacci sequence sets the sculpture’s rhythmic expansions and contractions, creating a natural sense of growth, while Voronoi algorithms weave a crystalline network of cellular divisions reminiscent of coral reefs and mineral lattices. As daylight moves, the lattice casts shifting constellations of shadow and glimmer, as the sculpture seems to breathe with its surroundings.
